To open a SECNY Business Account, you must provide the following documentation - dependent on what type of Business Account you are opening. 

What you need to provide us:

Sole Proprietor

  • Employer Identification Number (EIN) /Social Security Number (SSN)
  • DBA Paperwork or Business License 

Organization

  • Employer Identification Number (EIN) /Social Security Number (SSN)
  • Copy of Authorized Signers Documentation- For EIN, copy of minutes authorizing signers. For SSN, personal account should be opened.

Partnership

  • Valid ID and Social Security Card (Personal)
  • Employer Identification Number (EIN)
  • Social Security Number (SSN)
  • Copy of Authorized Signers Documentation- Partnership Agreement; section naming specific partners

Corporation

  • Valid ID and Social Security Card (Personal)
  • Employer Identification Number (EIN)
  • Copy of Authorized Signers Documentation - Corporate Resolution or Certificate of Incorporation
